  • No. If you are unsure which notarization your document requires, please contact the document preparer, attorney, or receiving agency. I am prohibited from selecting the notarization on your behalf.

  • Notarial wording is the certificate language that tells the notary what notarial act is required. It is usually found near the signature area, at the end of the document, or on a separate certificate page. Examples include “acknowledged before me” for an acknowledgment and “sworn to and subscribed before me” for a jurat.

  • Please contact the document preparer, attorney, or receiving agency to confirm the required notarization before the appointment. I am prohibited from selecting the notarization on your behalf.
